Campus Tours Beginning at 9 am
Portfolio Reviews From 11 am - 3 pm

National Portfolio Days are educational events for young artists held at host colleges throughout the U.S. and Canada. Portfolio Days bring together students and experienced college representatives who review artwork, offer critique, discuss college plans, and share information about their schools.

Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design will host National Portfolio Day on Sunday, September 26, 2010. RMCAD and all of the participating colleges will review portfolios from 11 am to 3 pm in various buildings throughout the campus. There is no cost to attend and you do not need to register or RSVP in advance. When you arrive, stop by the white check-in tent on the main lawn to pick up a program and sign in.

Most of the college representatives you speak with will spend approximately 15 minutes reviewing your portfolio and providing feedback. Bring your best original artwork (10 or fewer pieces is fine). If your work is large, 3-dimensional or otherwise hard to carry, you can bring photographs of the work instead. Some of the schools reviewing work, but not all, will have laptops available to look at work that needs to be viewed on a computer. You may bring your own laptop if you wish.

Some colleges will have long lines of students waiting for reviews throughout the day; other colleges will have shorter lines. We encourage you to show your work to as many schools as possible and maximize your time during the event.

Before the portfolio review event starts, you are invited to join us for campus tours that will run every 30 minutes starting at 9 am.
