This is a very cool sculptural-architectural piece.  It is very inspiring and now I want to build something too.  Erik How about next summer . . . maybe on a bit smaller scale???.  Now I it looks like they started in 3ds Max, which is basically the same as Maya, look where it took them.  It is a very simple design and very cool.

Evolver is a fun little piece of architecture with an incredible 720º panoramic view of Zermatt, Switzerland. The structure was built by second year students of the ALICE Studio at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).

"A continuous opening follows and turns around a 720 degrees circulation, offering the user a evolving perception of the usual Zermatt area..."
