Bordo Bello: A Skateboard Art Fundraiser
December 11th, for the second year in a row, Bordo Bello is about breathing life into the Denver arts community. Our goal is to expand the audience of AIGA Colorado and open up the design community to incorporate the related artistic fields that help shape our culture.
Bordo Bello’s funds go directly to two charities, Access Gallery and Youth Design Denver.
The Charities
All of the proceeds go directly to two places: Access Gallery and Youth Design Denver.
Access Gallery: Home of VSA arts of Colorado where is creating a world where people with disabilities have the opportunity to learn through, participate in, and enjoy the arts. They host AIGA Colorado’s mentorship program Giving Voice as well as many other community-based activities.
Youth Design Denver: Now it’s second year in Denver, Youth Design provides internships that expose high-school students with creative interest to the world of design, to a variety of work environments and career opportunities in design, and to what it means to work as a professional designer.
They will have LIVE GRAFFITI during the Bordo Bello event. A group of very talented street artists from West High School have agreed to show their skillz the night of the auction.
